Day 33: Hitting fast forward

I love my coach so much. Her name is Melanie and she kicks so much ass. She holds space for me to be who I know I am—even when I doubt myself, even when I forget, even when my brain is completely melting down and I’m like WHAT THE FUCK AM I EVEN DOING. She reminds me where it lives inside of me that I am always enough. She reminds me where it lives inside of me that 2021 Kristen already has this shit figured out and (spoiler alert) I’m 2021 Kristen already, just a few months earlier. She reminds me of where it lives inside of me that I have a purpose in the world that matters and the easiest thing in the world is to just be who I really am. It’s fucking awesome.

And here’s the thing: I don’t NEED a coach. No one REALLY does. But I WANT one because it’s like hitting fast-forward on all my goals, all my growth, all my relationships. And it’s a HELL of a lot more fun with a coach than it is on my own.

If your life is not 100% where you want it to be, that doesn’t mean anything is wrong. You’re on the right track, I promise. But if you want to get it there faster, get yourself a coach. You’re gonna blow your own mind with what you can create.

Here’s the other thing: I want you to get yourself a coach. A great coach. A coach you ADORE. I don’t care if it’s me or not. Who I am is that you get the great life that you want and deserve. If you think I can help with that, hit me up. If you’re looking for something else, ASK. I know a lot of amazing coaches and I love to make referrals.

So contact me and let’s put this shit on fast forward. You got this .

Day 32: Finding your own magic

What if I told you you don’t have to wait for motivation to fall out of the sky when the stars are perfectly aligned? What if you could summon it any time you want?

It might sound like magic (Accio motivation!), but it’s very, very real. You can create motivation for yourself—real, lasting motivation, not a frenetic positivity frenzy that leaves you feeling vaguely hungover and decidedly disappointed when it wears off.

If you’re clear on what you want to create, I can help you create it—not by motivating you, but by teaching you to motivate yourself and create your own sustained momentum. Because that’s what I do: I help people get unstuck so they can do the things they want to do in life and in business. And I can help you do it too.

I’m on a mission to serve 100 people in 100 days through powerful coaching conversations. If you’re ready to DO the damn thing let’s talk. Apply here: http://tinyurl.com/altitudeadjustmentintro

No bullshit. No toxic positivity. Just finding your own magic.

Day 31: Finding the great stuff

Did you know you’re allowed to have a great life? You’re allowed to have depression and also have a great life. You’re allowed to have anxiety and also have a great life. You’re allowed to make mistakes and also have a great life. You’re allowed to have no idea what you’re doing and also have a great life. You’re allowed to have a messy house and also have a great life. You’re allowed to have a great life and there are lots of ways to have a great life. You get to pick how you do it. It can be messy and uncomfortable and imperfect and frustrating and hard at times and still be great. You’re not doing it wrong if you have bad days or moments that aren’t your finest. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be yours.

Day 30: What’s next

Jesse swapped out our sink and had to re-plumb the whole thing. It was an adventure to say the least—spanning multiple days and trips to two hardware stores—and the thing he said when it was all over is what stuck with me the most:

“All the stuff that went wrong yesterday made me the plumber I was today.”

If it feels like things are hard, like you’re doing if wrong all the time, what would it feel like to remember that this is setting you up for something in the future? What if you’re not failing at all? What if you’re gathering information and getting ready for the next move?

No toxic positivity. Just thinking about what’s next.

Day 29: Being where you are

Colorado is burning. That’s a layer of smoke. We are hours from any of the fires and this is about a thousand feet lower than where we live, which is fully in the smoke band. It’s scary and sad and also beautiful. And it’s okay to acknowledge all of those things. You’re allowed to be sad for those affected and grateful it’s not you. You’re allowed to be both horrified that it’s happening and glad it won’t happen again there for a few years. It’s okay to have more than one emotion about this or anything else—without making yourself or anyone else wrong for it.

If making yourself or some else wrong is your default mode, we should talk. I get people unstuck so they can live their life authentically, powerfully, and unapologetically. No bullshit. No toxic positivity. Just being where you are and letting that be okay.

Day 28: The truth

Hey. You. You’re enough, right now, exactly and imperfectly as you are. Give yourself some credit for how great you’re doing—especially with everything going on in the world right now. You’re a freaking rockstar. Seriously.

Don’t believe me? Let’s talk. I get people unstuck so they can live their life authentically, powerfully, and unapologetically. I’m on a mission to support 100 people in 100 days through powerful professional conversations focused on clarity and transformation. No bullshit. No toxic positivity. Just the truth. (Psst… it’s that you’re doing a lot better than you think.)
